But in that case, why bother with the darn thing at all? It’s anachronistic, not terribly well-written, and has way too much baggage to be very useful. Why not start from scratch with a book that is not so easily interpretable in such evil ways? I could even find you a really old book to replace it with, if necessary. There’s no reason to put yourself through the mental gymnastics of trying to make the book something it isn’t. Just sayin’.
